The Pentair SuperFlo / SuperMax Lid O-Ring -- 2-357 Buna-N 70 Durometer (357255Z) is a replacement strainer lid o-ring for Pentair SuperFlo DOE, SuperFlo VS/VST, Sta-Rite SuperMax, SuperMax VS/VST, and Pentair OptiFlo above ground pool pumps. Parker size 2-357, Buna-N rubber, 70 Shore A durometer. This o-ring seals the clear strainer lid to the pump strainer body -- a worn lid o-ring allows air to enter the pump suction side, causing loss of prime and air bubbles in the return lines. Replace whenever the lid is removed for basket cleaning as a matter of routine maintenance.
