The Rainbow RTL Filter Cartridge Gasket -- Soft (R172222Z) is a replacement soft pliable gasket that seals the filter cartridge within the Pentair Rainbow Dynamic Series RTL and RCF spa filter canister. The gasket ensures that all circulating water passes through the filter cartridge rather than bypassing around the cartridge edges. A deteriorated or missing cartridge gasket reduces filtration effectiveness by allowing unfiltered water to pass through the canister. Replace annually or whenever the filter cartridge is replaced for reliable filtration performance.
