Rainbow Bypass Valve

The Pentair Rainbow RTL 1.5-Inch Bypass Valve Assembly (R172226X) is a replacement pressure-relief bypass valve for Pentair Rainbow Dynamic Series RTL and RCF 1.5-inch spa filter canisters. The bypass valve opens automatically when filter pressure exceeds a set threshold (typically due to a clogged cartridge), allowing water to continue circulating to protect the pump from dead-head pressure. This protects the pump from damage when the filter is dirty. Replace when the bypass valve fails to open at high pressure or leaks in the closed position. Compatible with 1.5-inch Pentair Rainbow Dynamic Series RTL and RCF filter canisters.
